Padrinho Alfredo- Nova Era and Nova Dimensão

Padrinho Alfredo Gregório de Melo is the current world leader of the Santo Daime in the lineage of his father Padrinho Sebastião. Padrinho Alfredo’s hinários, “Nova Era and Nova Dimensão” are traditionally sung in Céu do Mapiá for the Feast of St. Joseph (March 18th), the feast of St. Peter (June 28th) and for New Year’s Ever (December 31st) in combination with his first hinário, “O Cruzeirinho.” Nova Era and Nova Era are also popularly sung in outdoor works.
